Chris Paul Traded To Houston Rockets

In a move that should’ve been done years ago (breaking this Clippers team up), the Los Angeles Clippers starting point guard Chris Paul has been traded to the Houston Rockets for Lou William, Patrick Beverley, Sam Dekker and a 2018 first round pick.

Head coach Doc Rivers was brought in from Boston to help the Clippers win their first NBA title, but for some reason, this team just couldn’t make it past the second round of the NBA playoffs. I for one have been vocal about the Clippers breaking up this team because I felt the Clippers didn’t have the right chemistry for one, and secondly, it was obvious that they weren’t as good as the Warriors, Spurs, or Rockets.

Chris Paul is scheduled to become a free agent July 1, However, it’s rumored that he wanted out of Los Angeles, because his relationship with Doc Rivers has gone south every since Doc traded for his son Austin back in 2015.
