Indiana Pacers bounce Cleveland Cavaliers

The Indiana Pacers have won their third straight game. By beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 124-107,  at the Quicken Loans Arena out in Cleveland last night.

Thaddeus Young scored 26 points on 12-18 shooting.  Darren Collison added 25 points 8 assists, and Victor Oladipo chipped in 23 points.  As the Indiana Pacers sent the Cleveland Cavaliers to their fourth straight loss.

The Pacers shot 54% from the field and a blazing 61% from behind the three-point line (16-26).  They outrebounded the Cavaliers 43 – 41 and passed out 35 assists, opposed to the Cavaliers 25.

The Cavaliers who lost to the New York Knicks at home by 19 (Sunday). Had a team meeting Tuesday morning to discuss things like the poor defense the team has been playing. I think the team may need another meeting.  As the defense for Cleveland hasn’t gotten any better. For example.  With the Cavaliers up in the third quarter the Pacers went out in hit four straight three-pointers to take an eight-point lead.

The  Cavaliers who’s also battled with injuries since the start of the season. Seen Tristan Thompson leave the game in the second period with a strained calf.  The injury didn’t look good for the  Thompson (or the Cavs), as he left the arena on crutches. “No one is going to feel sorry for us right now” the Cavs coach Tyronn Lue stated. “We got to do it ourselves”

Lebron James who finished the game with 33 points 11 assists and 6 rebounds. said ” a lot of teams are playing well good right now. We’re  not. That’s just a simple fact”.

Derrick Rose scored 19 points. Jeff Green added 15 and Kevin Love chipped in 13 points 13 rebounds for the 3-5 Cavaliers.

What’s next

The  Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Washington Wizards tomorrow night out in the Capital One Arena. While the Indiana Pacers will head down to Philadelphia to visit Ben Simmons and the 76ers.
