Joel Embiid Scores 23 In Return

Earlier tonight, Joel Embiid returned to the Philadelphia 76ers. Embiid missed the first two games of the series, and the end of the regular season. He was listed as doubtful for this game, but his status was upgraded to probable. Embiid even started in this game. He played 30 minutes for the Sixers.

On Monday, The Sixers lost to the Miami Heat 113-103. Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 28 points. Wade turned back the clock for a night, and showed glimpses of his old self. Embiid was anxious to play after this game. However, the Sixers were still cautious. The Sixers did not list Embiid as probable until earlier today.

Joel Embiid was the leading scorer for the Sixers. He led the team with 23 points. He also 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks. Dario Saric and Marco Belinelli scored 21 points each. Ben Simmons nearly tallied a triple-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assets. Simmons has nearly become a triple-double machine. Robert Covington also had 11 points. JJ Redick scored 10 points, despite being 1 of 5 from three-point range. Redick is famous for his three-point shooting. His contribution was solid, but the 76ers need his outside shooting.

The series resumes on Saturday. This game will take place in Miami. The Sixers have the chance to take a 3-1 lead. Or, the Heat can tie the series. The 76ers are healthy again with the return of Joel Embiid. They have a good chance of winning the series. But with Joel Embiid, anything is possible
