Chelsea Gray led the Los Angeles with 27 points. Odyssey Sims added 16 and Candice Parker chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds. As the  Los Angeles Sparks takes game of the WNBA finals by beating the Minnesota Lynx 85-84.

The Los Angeles Sparks came out on fire and grabbed a 28-2 lead on Minnesota Lynx. However, the Lynx refused to go away as they continued to fight all the way back and tied the game up on a Sylvia Fowles free throw with 1:16 left in the fourth quarter. A jumper from Chelsea Gray put the Sparks up by two before Seimone Augustus canned a 3 pointer. With the score 82-81 and the Lynx leading. Nneka Ogwumike hit a jumper with 26 seconds in the game to put the Sparks backup 83- 82. Candice Parker hit a layup with 6 seconds on the clock to Minnesota up by one 84-83. Before Chelsea Gray sealed the deal with a game-winner jumper, with just 2 seconds on the game clock.

Maya Moore led the Lynx with 27 points. Sylvia Fowles added 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and Seimone Agustus chipped in 19 points in a losing effort. Game 2 of the finals is Tuesday.
