The Golden State Warriors will be heading to their straight NBA finals by completing a 4 game sweep over the San Antonio Spurs, by beating them 129-115, last night out in San Antonio. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 36 points, while Kevin Durant chipped in 29 points and 12 rebounds.
The win made the Warriors the first team in NBA history to start the NBA playoffs with 12 straight wins. It also gives the Warriors nine days to rest as they wait for the winners of the Celtics verse Cavaliers series, as the NBA finals aren’t scheduled to start until June 2.
Kyle Anderson led the Spurs with 20 points, while Manu Ginobili added 15, in what could be his final NBA game. The highest paid player and the man who was supposed to be Tim’s Duncan replacement LaMarcus, Aldridge had 8 points and 7 rebounds, in the loss.
