Kevin Durant scored 38 points in his first game back in the NBA finals since the 2011-12 season. Stephen Curry added 28 and Draymond Green chipped in 9 points and 11 rebounds, as the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 113-91 at the Oracle Arena out in San Fransico.
Lebron James led the Cavaliers with 28 points, Kevin Love added 15 points, 20 rebounds and Kyrie Irving chipped in 24 points for a Cleveland team that struggled to keep up the Warriors all night. The Cavs also turned the ball over 20 times oppose to the Warriors 4 which happens to tie an NBA record for fewest turnovers in an NBA finals.
If the Cavs is going to have any shot at beating the Warriors in this series, they’re going to have to cut down on the turnovers, do a better job on the boards and keep the Warriors out of transition. However, as we all know that’s easier said than done.
