John Wall led the Washington Wizards with 23 points. Bradley Beal added 22 points and Otto Porter chipped in 20. As the Washington Wizards beat the Los Angles Lakers 111-95 at the Captial One Arena in Washington DC.

After losing at home to the NBA worst (record wise) Dallas Mavericks. The Wizards broke this game open in the second quarter. They outscored the Lakers 32-22 in the period and went up by as much as 21 points in the third quarter. The Lakers didn’t have a lot of answers for the Wizards. As Washington shot over 50 percent from the field and 90% from behind the foul line. While holding the Lakers to 36% from the floor, and 13% from behind the three-point line.

However, the Lakers did continued to fight and even got as close as nine points (93-84) with eight minutes left in the game. But that was before Bradley Beal drained a three-pointer to start another Washington Wizards run, that ultimately ended the Lakers dreams of winning this game.

The Los Angeles Lakers did get balanced scoring from their team. As seven of their players reached double figures tonight. Brook Lopez and Jordon Clarkson led the team with 15 points apiece. While Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell Pope both had 13 points. Julius Randle scored 11 off the bench and Brandon Ingram chipped in 10.

The Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball almost had a triple-double. As he scored 10 points. Passed out 8 assists and grabbed 8 rebounds for a Lasker team who’s currently on a two-game losing streak.

Side Note
The Lakers will now head to Milwaukee to face the Bucks on Saturday. While Washington prepares for the Atlanta Hawks to come into town Saturday Night.
