Chris Paul Seals Win Against Denver
No matter what team Chris Paul has played for, that team has suddenly gotten better. He took New Orleans from a 18 win team, to playoffs team in just two seasons. He turned the Clippers into Lob City.
Chris Paul helped the Houston Rockets get to the Western Conference finals (twice), Turned a lottery bound Oklahoma City team into a playoffs team, and now has helped the Phoenix Suns to an 6-1 record.
Last season, Phoenix showed potential, but their young team gave away several games in the fourth quarter, which is why they traded for a 35 year old Chris Paul.
Paul’s experience showed tonight when his Phoenix Suns team blew a 16 point lead to the Denver Nuggets and fell behind a point late in the fourth quarter.
Instead of going into panic mood, the Suns was lucky to have Chris Paul on the floor, who was able to hit a jumper with a defender all over him. The shot put the Suns up by a point, and the Nuggets failed to score on the next possession.
With Phoenix up a point, Denver was forced to foul Chris Paul who calmly stepped to the free throw line and knocked down both free throws to secure the win.
